For some, remembering a loved one in life is preferred while for others visiting the Chapel of Rest is an integral part of the grieving process and funeral ceremony. This aspect is an important feature of our service and one of which we are particularly proud knowing how important it is to our clients.

Visiting your loved one in such circumstances can be a difficult and upsetting experience and we do our utmost to ease the stress which you may feel, to give a lasting memory which stays with you.  

It can be a source of mutual support to come with other family members and if you wish, one of our staff will always be available to accompany you during your visit.

You are welcome to visit as often as you wish, but we would ask that you make an appointment to ensure the privacy of others and yourself.

Please feel free to advise us of your wishes as to whether you choose to see the coffin presented opened or closed. We are dedicated to ensuring your visit is just how you would want it.
